    Outstanding!!

So....JUST How happy are you ????

Nothing can explain the feeling of the maiden voyage after a total rebuild.

Curious about your thoughts on how the hull/pad modifications worked out for you?

    Congrats !!!!!

Man maiden voyage i was a nervous wreck. Ive never ran a 260 so i didnt know what to expect really. Motors stout to say the least lol. The bottom feels good so far, i like it. I need more seat time with the boat though. Only made about 3 rides and so far so good. Only thing i find is it hops more now which sucks. Im having some motor problems right now but hope to get them sorted out soon. I want to play with the boat more and see what it needs. Ill probally sand some of the wedge later

Well for now thats about as good as it's gonna get i suppose. Can't get the motor above the bottom of the boat without ordering a jackplate or going 15". Think ill hold out and go 15" later on!

At 90 the wedge starts to take over and push the bow down. Im not used to having a stream get flat on the water. Motor needs to come up. The boat leaves and cleans up pretty fast i think. It actually suprised me! At 70 the whole boats out the water

Sounds good man, going fast and keeping the bow down in a V-King is what you want. Do you think extending the strakes fwd even more would be better or not?

    Very nice indeed!!
So basically you added the wedge to the pad that the Vector has to keep it flat at speed, along with the two added strakes the
vector also has for early lift to get on pad?

    Nice work!!

I have been watching the mods done by people to get the boats to plane faster. That is the only weak area on my King. It goes nose to the sky for 5 secs then lays down and goes. I hate to put plates etc on the trans/motor when I know a bottom change would do the job better. Been wanting to mod the hull for a long time. Maybe this summer.....Any measurements on the strakes you would like to share?

this one has the extra strakes and wedge on end of pad......im thinking well end up taking most of the wedge off

my vector has the wing wedges added ....along with transome wedges from bobs.....it leaves flat with motor tucked

if you do ANYTHING to the viking.....add the strake....best bang for the extra work!! don can give u measurements of his....
