Thanks for the info , texasvector .
I had never heard of this Macro Epoxy stuff before and from what I've seen in the pictures it looks pretty nice . I did a little research and found out that it is made for lining tanks but the manufacturer doesn't say anything about fiberglass boat bottoms . I , [as well as everyone else] am looking for an option to the time , expense and mindless tedium of re-gelling boats below the waterline . With any luck , others will chime in with their experiences with this stuff and we all might learn something .

With me and Texas vectors case. We both have modified bottoms on our rigs. Ives seen his and he's gave me ideas for mines. What i think is really awesome is if i dont like something with my bottom. I can slide under the trailer with a sander and do what needs to be done. Then just touch that area up and not have to worry about blending to the original color or gell

Thanks , Deznuts3570
Nice to know that this stuff can be easily repaired and re-coated . How well is the adhesion and toughness ? I am currently re-gelcoating my hull in order to fix a little damage and straighten out some other corruption and looking for future options to the insanity of a gelcoat re-spray . I need something extremely tough as my boat averages about 250 days a year on the water and sometimes pulling her out for the night to dry out is not an option .

That is sweet! Who ever did that did a great job.
Does that particular finish give a lower co-efficient of friction, better than a smooth polished finish?

Update, i sanded for about 50 or 60hrs and a friend came over and was kind of guiding me. He's a helluva body guy and was showing me where i was going wrong and what not. He took it and put another 30 or 40hrs in it to help me out and make the deck straight. Without him it would've taken me 300 more hrs and i still dont know if i could have got it as straight as him! Supposed to paint tomorrow depending on the weather
