It is coming along very nicely!
I like the added stakes. Are they for a smoother transition to getting on the pad?
Not sure i know what the pencil roll is and what is it's purpose?
Could you elaborate please.

So my thinking was to improve the handling SOME and get it on the pad quicker with the strakes. With the pencil roll, i was thinking to make the boat "flatter" on the water at speed. From what ive seen, a flat boat is a faster boat

Thank you for the explanation. It does show better in the picture exploded view..
Great idea! Similar traits of the post 75 Vector and Viper hull changes by Ron Baker by the addition of the two strakes and wedge just in a much smaller degree?
I too have seen many a V-King video's with the bow way up. Some lift is necessary to air it out, but just how much before it begins to negate speed ??
I like what you did..Looks and sounds like a good plan!!

Vikings with 150s can be aired out. With 260s, get trim happy. Itll bite ya in the butt. Flat is always faster and especially when you running 90+

Yes..there is really no need to leave one of these boats set in the water for to long .... and when they are in the water 90% of the boat is airborne
