If you look how we do the knees and the transom. I am trying to keep people from turning a single built boat into a twin. The twin will have more knees, a full length and thicker transom, more glass in it and more supports throughout the boat. I know guys have been turning single Talons into twins over the years, but I know they way we are building them they are two different animals.

Do you feel it would weaken the dash area too much if one was built with an access area to the front cut the whole way across? Not for a cabin but a carpeted area for day trip storage or to crawl under the dash if you got stuck in a storm.
    current rides-
    DCB Mach 22, twin 2.5
    2002 Bullet 20 XDC
    1991 Checkmate Pulse 225 Promax

past rides- four stv's, one 21 liberator, one mirage and a glasstron and a few pontoon boats and a duck boat.
    past power-2.5's, 200, 260,280, drag. 3.0 L-225, 300x

No, it would not, but it is very small area up there under the SS. It can be done easily and you would want the center console deleted.

My 22 I/O 1996, (XL) was originally built with that bulkhead open and was glassed in sometime later. I heard the deck may have had vibration and strength issues? Its rock solid now.
Your layup may be different and not require that bulkhead to go all the way up to the deck.
    Just an FYI.
