Ran 34cc on my 245hp at 3000' on non ethanol 92, had 145psi. would think 34 would be safe.

Would it be OKAY if he would shave the heads a little more and include the 1mm of the gasket into the shaving ??

I ran 175-180 #'s on my 260 for over a year with aces, klotz and GOOD 93 octane. Personally I didn't see enough difference from 140-180 to justify the stress on my motor. Still running the aces but running 140 pounds of compression and a few stages of nitrous now

I'm not racing now but maybe later on, just would like some cheap hp, figured 160 wouldn't be too bad maybe 150, just checking out options before biting bullet

Healthy motor at sea level will be real close to 150psi with 34cc. Rarely seemuch top end gains but make a big diff in the mid range, also seem to start and idle better.

I've been running my 245block with stock porting and 34cc heads for years on 91 with no issues at 300ft above sea level.
Run it a little fat and don't go nuts on the timing.
With the block decked probably 18 thou or so I make roughly 150-155psi on my testerLast edited by P man; 11-04-2015 at 04:55 PM.
