I came up with what I think is my best overall option. I found a nice low hour 2002 Mercury Optimax 200XS 20". I'm hoping this motor will get me somewhere between 85-90mph.

I was was starting to think the Pro XS 175 may be a little weak and the Simon ecu upgrade may not be enough or who knows about reliability with the increased rpms the motor would pull. The 200XS is bone stock.
