    My rides

I have been using a 1999 Xtreme S10, 4.3L auto with 270k miles. Angie found and talked me into getting a new ride, one that I have had on my dream cars list for many years. A 2008 Trailblazer SS AWD, LS2 6.0L AWD with only 79k miles and about as close to perfect as one would want.

You'll love that TBSS if it has been taken care of as good as it looks. I bought a loaded 2wd TBSS new in 07 and put 75k on it in 3 years.

Thanks everyone. I took my blown block on a road trip down to James Perry today, about 570 miles round trip. Filled up and set the cruise at 70, stopped when I got there and showed 17.4mpg average. Headed home without resetting and when I got home it was showing right at 18MPG average. For a 4900 pound AWD sled with 20" rims and 395HP I think it did pretty good.
