The Thievery of said stolen goods was a SAD and Despicable act. BUT!!! The Boat was parked on the blind side of the Comfort in attached to the Shoneys parking lot. Earlier that evening a lot of activity was going on. Exposed Tools, props spare parts etc.

I am in no way supporting of condoning what happened to that Guy. BUT!! if I had several Thousand dollars invested in tools, parts props etc. I could have found a better place to store them other than in a boat with a cover as the only means of securing them.

Cover was cut rather than unsnapped> That tells me it was planned as not to draw attention by removing the cover and the Thieves knew exactly where to go.

The problem is that everyone feels comfortable around each other so we put our guard down. We just had a car get stolen out of the pits at the last race. The keys are in everything normally in case someone needs to move something etc. due to the cramped areas. Trailers are normally open in case guys need to borrow something etc.-If they find the guy I will personally invite him to the next race and let him meet some of the people that he risk dealing with---

Brand new car gone-changes everything when there is a dirtbag that walks into our circle.
