1978 Glaston Carlson CVX 20 Interiors.
I need some pic's of the rear seat of a CVX 20....Picked up a project and in is in need of a complete make over. Anyone ever done 3 high back buckets across the back?
Just thinking.

I use 2 light weight bean bag chairs( fit perfect) across the back of my CVX 17 when I take out guests. Otherwise its a 2 seater! Gary

For small stern heavy boats, the back to back seats work best imo.. Keeps weight fwd. I have a 2 pc bench seat in the back of my V-King and with 2 people on it, the boat is real stern heavy. One of my buds has the same boat, rigged the same ,(fuel, batts etc) with back to backs and it planes and rides much better than mine.

Do a google search on cvx20 seats, you will find plenty of information out there. The rear seat is 71" wide, that would be snug with 3 buckets but doable. I would not put back to back in these, defiantly not right especially if you have a Deluxe. That is not a light nor balance sensitive boat.
Last year I redid my interior, I had no rear seat in my Sprint and made this. The center hinges up to access under the aft deck and the lower center lifts out as well.

If it ain't broke, modify it.

Charlie,
Thanks for the pic and the measurement.....If the rear is 71 inches wide then I could put 3 seats 20.5 wide and add a bolster with drink holders between the seats and a little padding for the side walls as well.
Planning on using these seats.

I just double checked my notes, the hull is 69½ wide up high and 71 down low, those seat might just be the ticket for what you want to do.
