    2000 Mercury Promax 225

    Hello I have a 2000 Merc Promax 225. Bought it with my 88' Mako last season. The lower unit needs to be replaced. It is located in Brooklyn NY. Make a serious offer and I will consider it.     The broken lower unit that is on the motor now, what model is it, T/M, CLE, S/M or other?

    That is not a pro max 225 ,that is a 200EFI,, all promax 200,225s powerheads were not painted black.If that is the original powerhead then the cowling has been changed.Also the 5 inch exstension looks like and add on as all 2000yr long shaft mids were one piece.That engine may have started out as 20inch promax but has been changed due to different app...

    Update lower unit has been fixed and engine is running perfect. Let me know if anyone has any questions or offers.
