    EZ Loader trailer bunks...

My buddy just picked up a 2009 20' bass boat with an EZ Loader trailer.. It seems for a number of years, EZ Loader didn't use Pressure Treated wood due to "EPA reasons".. In any case, they need replacement. I am not there to help and he doesn't have the time (or ability) to build them, does anyone know where he can buy a set without having to get hosed by the dealers?

    Thanks guys..

I understand the chemicals in pressure treated wood are bad for either hull or galv steel axles and cross members.

    X2
The chemicals are brutal on un coated (ceramic or heavy galvanizing) metal.
i just redid a set of bunks on one of my trailers.
i used cedar. Kinda pricey bet it'll last better then spruce.
i found Overtons had the best (readily available) carpet. 20oz bunk carpet, 24" wide.

Interesting.. I've been boating for 40 years and never heard this.. Always replaced old bunks with PT as well.. I guess some type of water proofing is an option.. Something like Thompsons water seal...
