Major Snafu HELP
I installed the deck in this Bullet rebuild and decided it would be a good idea to put a layer of CSM on it with polyester. Well some how some way it got water in it coupled with the fact that I used too little resin. Now I have bubbles with moisture under them (non adherence)over at least 1/2 the deck. I'm in the process of grinding out these areas. My question is should I try another layer of CSM or apply a skim coat of thin epoxy putty to seal and smooth? HELP Also posted on BBC

I would take all the new poly material off. It is compromised. Grind clean, and go with a layer of cloth with epoxy resin. You can squegee the cloth and it will be smoother to start with and easier to finish out with the epoxy filler.
