Umpba drag race albert lea, mn sept. 19

The UMPBA will be holding a 1000 ft. drag race on Sat. Sept 19, 2015 on Fountain Lake in Albert Lea, MN.

The race will start at 1:00 PM with a drivers meeting at 12:00 PM.

Your boat will be required to pass a safety tech inspection before you can register, if you have never been tech inspected for a UMPBA race you can see the rules here http://www.umpba.org/ .

If you are unsure which class you belong in the course will be set up for test runs starting at 10:00 AM Saturday morning.
Parking for racers will be in the North Edgewater Park Pavillion with overflow parking in the field across the street from the pavilion.

I have a block of 30 rooms reserved for racers at Americas Best Value Inn in Albert Lea. Make sure you tell them you are a boat racer with the UMPBA.

Can't wait end of season lean is mean LOL. I think we should be bringing 8 or so boats from up here.

The hotel is pretty good for parking. There seemed to be ample room last year.

That is a great race site. Last year I just drove to Albert Lea with no directions and I think I drove on every curvy road you see on Google maps. NOW I look at the map and see how many extra miles I drove. LOL
