Blisters are usually air between the gel coat and the skin coat or a really long delay in time from when the gel coat was sprayed in and the first fiberglass coat went on. Usually it is air between the gel coat and the skin coat. As far as repairing call me and I will walk you through it. 937-292-7674. Todd

Google osmotic blister, if they are light you can get some out if bad you may have to re-gel.

I guess rain got in my cover last time I had it off and the fork stayed wet a while. It's on the top of the fork and the web part between the fork and nose of my mirage. 2 spots about the size of a paper plate each. Looks like no skid ! Thanks for the input. Just got home from the river so I will Google in the morning. Mike

Wow ! More involved than I hoped. I'm going to keep an eye on it and it can stay like it is if it doesn't get any worse.

The blister s have gotten much better. After taking it over with TRex I left it uncovered in a place with afternoon sun and they are now at the point i think I can sand them out. I'm in no big hurry so I will let it be thru the winter. Anyone else have them shrink ? Mike
