Beautiful boat! I would buy it in a second! Bad timing for me though, just bought a house and doing renovations.

The Streaker is tough as nails and are VERY versatile! I learned how to water ski behind one of these in the mid 70's. The boat had a 1500 Merc (inline 6). It was a little squirrely pulling multiple skiers so we had a fin put on the bottom and bolted a 4 foot tall ski pylon to the floor! That boat could carve some serious lines after that mod and pulling up 4 or 5 skiers at a time was a piece of cake!

I lived in Key Largo at the time and we used this boat for everything! The big flat, low deck is HUGE and great for fishing or letting your girlfriends get a tan, as mentioned above, it is great for skiing in so many respects that there are too many to mention. If you are just dog tired worn out from a couple hours on the slalom, the boat sits so low in the water, you can just roll into it and onto the floor.

I remember many days that we took the boat out to John Pennekamp State part do dive the Statue of Christ and other reefs. Those were over 5 to 6 miles offshore!! Some times we would have 4 or 5 people including dive gear! LOL... Crazy... Can't imagine doing that now. That boat was just indestructible though and we did it all!

In the 80's we got into bigger Bertrams and Hatteras boats and the Streaker was always there to back us up as a tender or a fast fishing boat. Even in the 80's not many boat could match the speed of the Streaker in flat water. About the only boats that could touch it (at the time) were the Hydrostreams with V6's over 200hp. It was/is always a fast boat.

Oh... And you fixed the biggest PITA about that boat IMO. The seam, the rub rail and those stupid rivets! I cannot count how many life jackets, ski ropes, shorts and bikini's (not mine) that were ruined by the rivets in that rub rail! Awesome to see it molded as one piece!

A truly timeless boat! Good luck with the sale!
