Just a very basic question...
Hey everyone,
I have a very basic question and I'm sure it's been discussed - what is the fastest bass boat that is being used as a bass boat?
Of course there are race boats that are technically bass boats, but I'm curious about a bass rig that is used often for its purpose, fully geared-up and all - trolling motor, electronics, the works.

My vote is for the Allison XB2003. With a 225 promax they run low to mid 90's, with a 280 they run high 90's low 100's easily ready to fish. Take out the fishing seats and you have huge deck spaces, a bench seat, tons of storage, and room for 5 adults in the cockpit. I'm on my second 03 and can't think of anything that can top it in all of those things. The bullets are fast but are 3 seat boats, the 2002's are fast but do not have front deck storage for tackle, the 03 just does it right for a mid size boat.

Greg:
My non Typical Catamaran Bass/Bay boat has been 115 fish rigged. Thats with a 36Volt troller , batteries, and the fishing stuff and 1/2 tank of fuel. The 400R will be on her in a few weeks so I may achieve some speed increases.Brent

yall don't forget stroker, easy over 100....one in particular 110 stock motor ....another called nightmare even faster. nightmare has never been on a light speed run , has only been run with fishing load and has posted 116.
Allison cant stay on top of speed run, most cant in a bullet..when they quit pulling they get dangerous...stroker will run on top as long as you got balls to push on it...

Now, Before This Goes Any Further, I Can NOT Run With Brent! His Boat Is Very Fast! Mine Has Been 109 With The Trolling Motor 3-Batteries, 3/4-Tank Of Gas And Me @ 205-LBS. With My "Beeter" Prop. It Will Run A Bit Faster With A Good Prop. I Would Think. My Nephew, And To Fast To Pass Both Have XB03's That Run Pretty Good. A "110-MPH" Stroker Would Have A VERY HARD Time With Either One Of Them In My Opinion.

Bullet 21 RDC with 300xs loaded to fish 93 with a little effort but really comfortable at 85 or 87 . The 300x pulled harder and was faster on the big end at 97 but was strung out and on the ragged edge.
