question about a 2008 duramax chevy diesel
My dad might get a clean 2008 all decked out Chevy diesel 3500 my question is it's that the first year of the eemission motor is it good or bad thanks

I'm pretty sure that was the 1st year for the emission (EGR) motor unless it was a California truck. I have an 04 that has the EGR but it did come from Cali. IMO the late 04 for the early 07 were the best ones. The later model don't get he mileage with the emmis. bs on them.

started emissions is late 04-05... i wouldnt be scared of it but id do all the deletes and get a tune will do better on fuel and dont have to worry bout the dpf and all that junk... im a big fan of the lbz (06) i have an 04 lb7 love it but the lb7s had injector problems
