For my Dog Lover friends
My Bernese Mountain Dog "Dolly" is one of 11 siblings. So we had a get together pool party for the dog family. All 9 of her brothers were in attendance including some "cousins" including her long lost Irish Wolf Hound cousin. My Golden "Toby" just hid in the pool all day with all that beef running around. Her brother all weigh in at 135+

People with dogs live longer and children raised around dogs have better immune systems.

We have a great pyrenees "puppy" among our 3 kids. 8 old months today, weighed 101 lbs. at the vet last week!! He shares us with my pomeranian & my brother in law's beagle. Sweetest dog I've ever owned, a true gentle giant. He replaced our neapolitan mastiff, who we had to put down last fall due to abdominal cancer. I have had a dog or dogs in my life since birth, not sure what I would do without one. Without a doubt the best creature to tell your problems to & just be near when you need it The first pic is after the first day he went down to the pond fishing with us, second is about a month ago at the horse's water trough & the last is todayAttachment 327143Attachment 327143

Its funny we have customers that used to scared to come in the shop because of our "Greeters" Pyreneese Husky cross of Al's and my Rottie. Now they bring their kids down to play with them.

Absolutely hilarious!
Love it.
We spent the weekend on our cruiser at Lake Erie and I am getting our kids (9 yr old lab rescue and 18 month old chocolate AKC) used to the cruiser life and the new dinghy.
We got vests for them which they wear while under way and they're getting used to those too.
I put them in the dink (also learning to do) to go to the island we were anchored off of so they could do their business.
About 30' from the cruiser, the pup decided the water was too inviting and in he went!
We were probably at least 100 yds offshore but I decided w/his vest on (they both swim like fish) I'd let him swim until he got tired then pull him in. I slowed the motor to an idle and kept watch.
He never even slowed down! He hit the beach, immediately thumped one then picked up a stick for me to throw.
I threw that as far and long as I could till my arm got tired.
Then pushed the dink back off and idled back towards the boat.
The kids followed while fighting over the stick the whole way back!
BTW, they've been sleeping since we got homeI'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Found this today:
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them, and every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I ever live long enough all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and as loving as they are."AIRWALK
