    400R fuel burn

Have any of you guys heard what these new 400Rs are turning in for fuel economy #s? I'm certain they have the same gph readout our Opti Smartcraft gauges have. My guess is that they're very thirsty motors........ I don't think anything can match the efficiency of the Optis - 15gph @ 5,000rpm cruise and 25gph at WOT (the #s on my twin at least, my single was working a little harder @ cruise burning 17gph @ 5,000rpm - still 25gph WOT).

Give it a couple weeks and we will have first hand data. Brent already has a case with 1.62s ready to bolt on.

its all about perspective- the boat I run holds 2800 gallons and burns it at a rate of 130 gallons per hour and I can burn it ALL easily in a day. 4,200hp eats a lot of fuel!! Lol

Brent I assume you will be trying it on your LCB? Please show us some pics of how it sits in the water when you get it. Curious as to how it handles the weight.

That is a mighty long day being that math works to a 21.5 hr run. I would expect 4200 to be a higher burn than that.
