I've had two 21 Superboats and a 24. All three were a lot slower than the one's you've owned I'm sure. Certainly slower than your Progression 22. The Super 24's are versatile wave crushers with a lot of freeboard. I ran mine from Westport Harbor to West Point/Garrison a bunch of times for lunch and then back. Probably just under 190 nautical miles round trip.
Have you done that run? Where are you, Long Island. Do it this weekend, the views are very cool. You can get 93 just above the TZ Bridge for a re-fill. Just don't end up like looking this after you mis-judge Hells Gate lol.
Southbayrider ....... good luck with the 24.

I don't think I would want to drive a 24 with a single 2.4/2.5, mine is a slug with a 300xs on it, handles the rough nice and flys nice and level with smooth landing

Mitch's boat with a 225x ran a best of 68...with a 300 HPDI it ran just shy of 10mph faster...like Mitch and Greg said the 2.5 is wasted on the 24...Unless you run 2 of them .

Looks gd n looks to be running nice the 24 can handle many motors but has been stated on here how it needs big motor but maybe for top speed 250hp & up but a stock 3.0 is docile compared to 2.5efi race motor it's like different boat
Not as bad as you might think but running in real ruff you could get yourself getting over stuff in quick snap of throttle really pretty sweet setup & fun makes boat feel more agile lack of better word
