That's cool you did the 200 xs skirts , they look better than the 280 skirts, 200's look better in my opinion , Not many people know there is a difference between the two

Before anyone goes buying this for their standard alien cowling thinking it will work... The offset on the 200XS skirt is different than the 280 because the 200xs base plate sits the cowling farther backward than the 280 to give clearance for the compressor and ignition coils. Skirts can not be interchanged between the two. However, this now allows a full alien setup to be used on a 2.5 Opti, which is awesome.

It also means you can run a 200xs cowl on a 280 and clear the rear fairing on an XR2001.

    Mike is the best.

I have a set of Cowlings for our 300xs' and they work great. Ours also have the intake and drains, are not only cool, but installed easily.

Getting a T3 that was cut for an HNR 6" intake (?). Need a faceplate to cover the hole. I will just spoon it over what is left. Needs to be thin.

Yes, when comparing the 280/cowl/skirt/exhaust can to the 200XS you will find the 200XS baseplate moves the cowl rearward a couple inches relative to the powerhead... so if you use a 280 skirt on the 200XS it would look goofy as it would not align with exhaust can... it would be back a couple inches... the 200XS is specific to the 200XS setup...

Got it-outside shape is same, placement and bolt up location is different. That's handy to know
