Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that is a 6" OMC F1 Mid Section. They are pretty rare from what I have read.

You might be right about that. I know it's shorter than 12.

In MN it is no problem getting a registration for a race boat. In fact it is mandatory if you don't want a ticket while testing.

At this spot, boats are not required to be compliant, as long as you drive directly from the launch site to the island sandbar for racing, and drive directly back to the launch at the end of the day. We've had canopy boats without numbers here before.

The two police patrol boats even drag raced each other. They flipped on lights and sirens and ripped along at nearly 40 mph. LOL. Too bad I didn't get photos.

Looks like a great time. Even better the law enforcement made a pass. That's great.

The red stv was Rays it's a 6" f1 v8 mid that Gordon and Jack adapted to an actual v6 E-tec and a 2.5 1.62 sporty. It's not easy but it was done by the best I'm glad its still in good hands.
