    CONGRATULATIONS TO AQUAHOLIC, Won their 3rd in a row

    Congratulations to Aquaholic Racing, they won today at the Manasquan Offshore Race! This makes 3 in a row for 22' Velocity, Fuller built Mercury outboard class 7 boat. A field of 9 started. Second place went to the 21' Ghost boat, Bay Rat.

    So those boats are doing 50 some miles per hour in video right ...
    If you hit 60.1 mph your DQed
    Does the driver controls the throttle also , watches GPS or does the passenger ?

    most boats are set up that the passenger is throttling, trim and watching gps speed. Driver is driving. I don't know how they are all set up but the driver can do it all himself if wanted. Her is a link to last year rule book. I believe there is no a 250 hp limit on engines in class 7.
