Nitra and Evinrude 250H.O V6 G2 is going racing

Yesterday was a new step for Marcus Friberg and his Nitra Boats.
A brand new race boat was tested for the first time just north of Stockholm.
This is also as far as I know the first Evinrude 250H.O V6 G2 used for boat racing...

Shes moving good for a 250 on a 27ft boat!! Love he sound they make!! The cowl they made for that motor looks good. the shape is growing on me.

That 27 looks awesome! I'd bet the beam is only 6' wide and it looks like all V with no steps. I kind of agree with whipper on the look of the cowl. I'm starting to like the shape. Lars, can you please speak with the factory and ask them to change the lettering. I can't figure out why they love sideways letters.

Haha yes good job of turning that! i kinda like normal also. it almost gives the cowl an even longer look when they run the letters down over across like you did. I was going to say there letters give the illusion of a longer cowl but that aint no illusion. haha

It's only 22 foot long, I was in Sweden last week and saw it race. Great looking boat with phenomenal acceleration, once the set up is dialled in it will be seriously fast.

Well..like the design or not but the X-27 Nitra Race boat powered by the new Evinrude G2 250H.O. won both races last weekend..

We then there ya go! Thats sweet to hear for sure. Evinrude need that kinda publicity because Merc need competition or else. Do you know if theres a 300 in the works from the same block with no extra weight?

Yes there is a 3.4 liter 300 HP Evinrude G2 available right now.

Great results but wait, is the boat 27' long or 22' long? What is the beam?
