hydrostream vector
i have a 1979 hydrostream vector that i have been redoing for over a year now was going very well for awhile i recored refloored and put transom in along with removing the foam boxes on either side of the boat and doing a splash well delete all came out very nice and the boat is very solid. used marine plywood for transom, foam core, floor is regular 1/2 plywood glassed on both sides, put new dash in and built a bow support that i glassed in to help make the top deck stronger. The bad... i gelcoated the boat which I WILL NEVER DO AGAIN !!! it was an insane amount of work and the best part is over the winter something happened to the gelcoat were it got foggy and spotty? i tried wet sanding didn't work re sprayed the top wet sanded and went into the the last layer of gel and now its light and dark in spots total loss for my gel job. I just recently bought a new boat off a buddy of mine and no longer want to finish this project being sold as bare hull and trailer i have the windshield and frame, windshield has a bit missing out of the port corner still looks and works fine have 2 white bucket seats for it have the bow lights that fit in the cut outs on the bow as well. The boat needs to be totally resanded and either regeled by someone who really noes what there doing or just painted witch is the way to go at this point will even throw in all my sanding blocks and all the sand paper i have looking to get 1500 or best offer which is peanuts compared to the amount of time and materials and money i have in it
