Well you folks convinced me , I'm going to put just one motor on and see how it runs , 2004 250 XS on a 26 foot Sleekcraft ex inboard, I installed a 8.75 inch pad, 60 something ???

in that application it looks like just plates and a tie bar, no external rams..... I think they come come with internal steering, but is that going to be adequate for a single application?
but i find it curious that no one is talking about whether they like them, ive read some articles that that HP 400 is only at the the top of the rpm range so it would critical to prop them correctly, other wise I guess you would just have a 350 verado, but very cool lookingLast edited by Dirk Pitt; 07-05-2015 at 10:08 AM.

mmm..now you guys have me pondering....I wonder how my 28' Checkmate 2800SX layed up with AME 4000 would run with a single 400R??? If I can run 70+ with a pair of bone stock Merc 2.4L 200's, what could a single 400 run? (sorry, don't mean to hijack the thread)
