those days are gone forever, way too much technology for that to happen again. munitions as in a "NUKE" would be my fear these days. price point is the deal and ability to deliver on schedule. anybody can promise the "perfect boat", but when? If you are truly a government agency looking for a supplier, these afore mentioned stipulations absolutely will be a considerations.

Fountain is back in business under "Baja Marine" and has a LOT of molds in various size ranges. I would say they have great hull designs with less than stellar fit/finish/rigging etc. That sounds like what your looking for.

come to think of it, between Baja and Fountain being one company now they have a ****load of hulls to chose from. From 20' to 47'.
