I guess if you never try it youll never know what ya need to do. I cant wait to hear the results as she is and then with a base line make them work even better if they have concerns. Im sure one way or another there goal will be to make there 28 work with twin 400R motors and in the end i have no doubt she will be one Tuff customer. See what I did there

Tuff still shows the 28 demo outboard on their website - $40K cdn, seems very attractively priced. It think it wend low 90's with a pair of 250XS, so I'd guess 100 +/- a bit with a pair of 300XS
I'd better start buying lotto tickets

Mark posted on FB that this one did 100 out of the box. Thinks 110 is no problem.

i not to sure about that, whats in its favor as far as speed is it has a notched bottom, but thats my concern, I had a 30 superboat with 300 pro maxs it also has a notched bottom and I had to really work out the setup I ended up putting a considerable amount of weight in the bow to get it to stablelize, it really was a handfull to drive, it ran in the low 90;s the future owners were afraid of it, and got sold a number of times, I lost track of it so I dont know if anybody changed anything, but that Tuff is beautiful..............

I saw this thing on Lake Muskoka last night... I was pulling into the docks in Gravenhurst as he was pulling out.
WOW! What a beautiful looking boat! Everyone on the docks was trying to guess how fast it would go... I said 105-110. I'm curious to see what it ends up doing.1989 21' Skater - twin 2.5s
