Shipping ended up being a difficult task and stressful at times. The boat was "tagged" for X-Ray, than pulled for extra scrutiny. Basically they
pulled the container aside, shipped to a separate location, opened the container, boat removed, boat searched, boat reloaded into the container, container shipped
back to the yard by U.S. customs.. all on my dime.

that's BULL**** ! how much more did it cost you ??? they can scan the entire container with a truck mounted unit by driving it through a giant wand in minute or 2. a friekin shake down is what that was.most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Maybe they offset the seats for weight distribution to get better performance????
That is a beautiful boat! That boat would be cool/cooler with a Targa top on it that would go down to within a couple of feet of that fin.-----------------------

It's a Yuka Racing Catamaran made and raced by Kerem Tuncer the owner of Yuka Yachts.
As far as the x ray, they did that first and I paid for that, than it was pulled for further inspection and removed from the shipping container...I dont have the final bill yet, but I'm guessing 3k extra.
The seat offset gives the occupants lots of room, but I think it's so extremely offset because the driver was very short and throttle man was very tall.. I'll post some interior pictures later today.

Sorry to hear about the inspection. What port did you come through? Where did it come from?
When my Argo came through NY they scanned it on my dime (like 1k) but when it came to me in PA via truck the seal was never opened.
Did you have a customs clearing agent?
Best of luck boat looks great
