    1975 160 inline 6 TP Spark Plugs

I can't remember and I am not near this boat right now.

What surface gap spark plug do I need for my freshly rebuilt 1975 150Hp Merc inline 6 tower of power?

Champ L76V or NGK equivalent. But I've stuck with the Champs as that what all my IL6s liked and ran fine.

NGK BUHW runs great in my 1986 115 TOP. I run 40:1 QS Premium Plus and they WILL NOT foul trolling for an hour. Eliminates skeeters for 2 miles when I stomp it, but run great and get changed every 2 years just 'cause. Oh, and 6200 RPM all day long.
I carry a gun because a cop won't fit in my pocket.

I have tried them both and fresh NGK BUHW are my choice, if you can increase the capacity of your ign. or change it to give more spark BUHW2 have a larger gap and produce a larger spark.

Yep! Run good oil it mine at 40-1 too. And even as my crank up rebuild (Avatar) even after "fogging", and winter pickle and getting ready for water now I pulled the plugs and STILL CLEAN! Definite fan NGK as run them in all my other motors. But I've had no prob the champs in it.

Champ threads seem a bit sharper , maybe just my imagination but fresh NGK do seem a bit better.

Whats fat in it now? .082's. .080's? As long as you get a good crisp launch, and no 'burrgiling" "Blating" ya good to go. If not drop down to .0785's. Check the plugs of course to see what they look like.
