I bought it new in 1993 when Talon (Gary Armington) was in Sarasota FL and owned it for 7 years. I designed the gelcoat scheme and it is one of the "twins". It has been repainted. Ro Yale did the original rigging. Twin 2.5 carb engines @ 245 HP. I installed Hydrodynamics nitrous systems (110 HP) and boy was she fun! Nothing could touch her back in the 1990's.

just finishing up the steering on mine....

a question for all the guys who posted there twin talons... some of you have your steering cylinders on the inside of each motor and some on the outside... what were the reasons for either or?

That's the way mine was rigged, I thought it looked cleaner, I can think of no advantage/dis-advantage.

Here's a picture of one with twin offshore 260s. I have no clue what all he has done to it just seen it at one of the rallies every year.

That's a really good looking rig ! They just look so bad ass with twins.

On on a side note.. I think that red triad in the back ground my buddy Doug owns now.. How ever there is a possibility there is more then one triad like that.. Lol

I agree. I think I've decided Ill just start watching your for sale threads from now on since you seem to go through just about every boat I would like to own. As for the Triad, there must be more than one since that one is still sitting in Texas.
