My Twister 25 Ft Race Catamaran

Just wanted to share my new to me twister 25 Ft race catamaran. It will be powered by a 2014 Mercury 300XS with a taylor marine 3.0 15" mid and a sport master 1:62 lower.

Currently the boat its on its way from France to Jacksonville Florida. Can't wait for it to arrive ;-)

I want to thank Pascal Caballero (owner and driver of kalou racing), Andy Mckeon (for the 300XS engine) and Glenn Gavin (for the complete taylor marine conversion).

The boat arrives June 6th. We are planning on doing some modifications and then testing in the water. We are looking at racing in key west this year or possibly a race prior to that if possible.

The race at Sarasota in July is a" little boat" friendly place. Usually fairly calm for the race. Great place to have a race too. Nice looking boat, I would really like to see it at speed...

you're not the first person to tell me to race it in Sarasota but we want to do some work to the boat so Unfortunately we won't be able to race it then you will also be surprised this little boat can actually handle some good rough water

thank you. the engine is pretty much brand-new so we still have to break it in but with the set up we could hit 120 mph plus depending on the prop selection but it should be a very fun boat once set up and fast.

Just curious, any idea what the weight of the boat is? Very cool! Would love to see some videos once it's set up!

You're rig is very, very cool! And with Adam involved, there's no doubt it will be very fast. If they started an offshore series with that combination out here on the west coast, I'd have one for sure! What an affordable, fun and fast race class that would be! And safe with the fully enclosed safety cell........
