Bristol will probably only appeal to the handful of boat racers who took part there, just a handful of Americans, but what a handful, the list reads like the "Royalty" of boat racing------Seebolds, Billy and Mike. Chris Bush, Earl Bentz, Bobby Hering, Johnnie Sanders, there will be some I missed, so I hope I don't piss anyone off.
It was always a full blown international meeting with pilots from every continent and all corners of the earth from South America, up to Canada, Australia , Scandinavia and South Africa.
One of the few places where both OMC and Mercury drove head to head.
If you like boat racing at all, you should follow this site and get a feel for how it was back in the day.

We are still trying to make contact with Earl Bentz, Chris Bush and Bob Hering. Please pass info onto them if anyone knows their whereabouts. Many thanks . So far we have 160 attending. It's going to be one helluva do!

Seebold is going to Bristol so I decided to go too, even if it's just to keep him company!
