tony i talked to him about it and of course he said yeah he said he would set it up cnc style cut i looked at the hand made possibility with a wiz wheel and die grinder but i got a lot of other stuff going on got 6 blocks backed up waiting on james to perfect his sleeve making process and im sold out right now

Can it be done cleanly? I've seen a few "converted" ones and they all look like they were made by a butcher with a hangover using a chainsaw

All I can tell you is, mine are real clean and look perfect.
It does take a bit a work and patience doing them manual with some good aluminum cutting bits but it is very due-able. I will try to get a picture posted here today.
The castings are the same, the reed cage and 2 bleed boses are in place just need to drill for the cages and install the 2 bleed fittings. I use JB weld on the holes not used just for hastetics because the 7 petal gaskets covers then anyway.
BTW, they actually should work nicely because it gives you a chance to clean the rest of the casting for a nice smooth flow..... Heck mine will give you 10hp..... JK.....

Meanwhile, if anybody out there has got a 7 petal ready to go I am willing to pay $$$ for it. I owe my buddy one, I have one of his on one of my motors and it ain't coming off.

Man that is a clean job. Thanks for posting those. And btw, Yes I am in a pinch! As I may have mentioned above I owe a good pal an intake.
