    300Xs Salt Pan Faicilty.

Hey guys need a solution to eliminate loads of salt coming in.
bought my engine used and did not have top cover on engine under cowling.

Although cowling seems to be in a good condition.

Once attaining certain speeds the vortex is created and back vent sucks in mist of water and salt.

I Do not like this salt under with the engine as some might be also ingested by the compressor, also for the over all aesthetic look and wear on the engine.

    My questions are.
Shall I open new vents in order to equalize the pressure? This way air would not come only from back vent.

Would this alter the airflow ?

will the ecu calibration be affected?

could it affect the motor in any way?

Does anyone have some experience in this matter

    I did Vist DBR Website...
the only problem is that I dont want to upgrade my ecu.. since I live far away in europe..

I taught I'd modify my cowling somehow. I'm just worried about the air flow if it would affect or not performance.
