    rehubing a prop?

    I'm getting a large hub Trophy done right now. Tim at Hoss is close to getting rigged to do them, talked to him last weekend. Said he would post here when he is good to go.
    If you can't wait Steve at SCP. is doing mine.

    powertech said no,but he sounded like a salesman so i dunno ill call scp see what he says.Powertech uses this cushion lock system with plastic and rubber type bars for sheer protetection maybe thats why

    PM Tim from Hoss Props, he is a member here. See what he has to say. His new system sounds cool if he can't fix you up maybe try Steve at SCP. If nobody can do it may have to sell your small shaft props and replace with the fatshaft props. I know it sucks but may end up being your only option.

    So what's he doing there? Boring it and then welding those strips in to create a square bore hub?

    Seems that way, would be more comfortable if was welded at least at both ends. Not 100% sure I would be trusting just one end tacked.

    That don't look too strong there..... I'd be afraid of shifting gears with it, let alone getting on plane...... not much weld there........ almost looks like our favorite vendor did that

    might work, think ill just take your advice and sell it in the new condition it is in.I also have a 25 trophy but its no were near enough prop,if u guys were to send a trophy out for modification who would it go to ?
