Just got my 300X Running, couple questions

It has a sportmaster lower, is there a specific water connection cup that will works best for this? The one from my OMC doesn't begin to cover the pick-up holes.

The one thing that definitely isn't right. For some reason when I pushed the key in (not necessary on EFI), it blew the trim relay. Can anyone tell me what color wire out of the key switch would be for the choke. I just plan to snip it, since it's not necessary.

Does anybody have a diagram for cable adjustment? I'm not worried about throttle, but want to make sure the shift is adjusted correctly.

    ~ Thanks,

There is a flush adapter made for the sportmasters. you can get one from Promarine or your dealer. the "choke" wire is yellow with a black tracer. Just adjust the barrel on the cotrol cable at the engine until you properl engage in both forward and neutral with the shifter by checking it at the lower unit.
