JB Jones was the man in charge of rigging for stunts. His son took over the business, I heard JB retired. We loaned them a 83 911SC Convertible that belonged to a customer for a scene outside of the Elbow Room. Don was also a customer. He lived on Star Island and had a 84 Carrera wide body Convertible, Pearl White with Blue Leather interior. License tag read "PEARL". Car was beautiful. He also had a white Chevy Dually with all sorts of side gingerbread and spoilers. Could be seen regularly at B-Bracket when they were in Pembroke Park.
The show was a do not miss for me. I could relate to all drug smugglers they chased, just like my customers.

Does anyone around Miami remember the name of the TV show someone was trying to start up in Miami, with the Charles Deering Estate as the hideout? It was before Hurricane Andrew I'm pretty sure, and they used a "stealth" black cat with V8 outboards hidden inside the boat. My buddy was the OMC rep and was tasked with helping them solve some impossible problems. I think it was a bust before it got too far along.

John Bosa, a customer and Dolphin player, bought one of the Miami Vice Scarabs. I used to meet him at Le Tub or Flicker Light....
