    Cool It's that time

Ever since I got moved in I have been slowly getting things situated and organized (somewhat). My tool box was stored in a friends drafty/moist garage for two and a half years and it breaks my heart to say it showed. I finally got my box home and started cleaning the odd and end stuff that my boat was covered in. Over the last couple days I have gotten some fresh fuel line ran with a new fuel filter as well as tidied up some wiring and got my fuel gauge wired properly.

Today is the day I drag it to the Shell station and fill it up with some nice fresh 93 with Penzoil synthetic and a big ole squirt of Aces!
I think I'll back in the drive and hook up the water hose then let my new neighbors smell some 2-stroke oil and listen to some Mercury sweet music!!

    Thanks Wayne,
We had some nasty snow come through here a couple times this winter. I am looking forward to some time on the water. I envy you guys that get to boat all year.

Slimm, I am in NC (the frozen tundra of the southeast) LMAO. We have had about the same shet as you. I am so ready to go to River Ranch. It is warm here now if the wind would slow down a little.

For some reason I thought you guys were further south. We have had a LOT of wind here as well. Today was nice though, I think we got around 66. I washed Angie's Nissan Rogue this morning around 11am before her and her youngest daughter went out for a girls day at the mall. I then moved a few things out of the way so I could get the boat out. Hooked it up and took a ride to fill the tank, came home and washed it all up and then got after my little S10. Sitting here with my laptop and eating leftover chili. I have never been happier in my life, even with all the back pain and bad news that came along with it...I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can't wait to hit the water.

    Just a few pictures

I forgot to mention that I got my tool box cleaned up from being stored in a nasty ole garage for 2 1/2 years and I also got our propane tanks swapped out for grilling. We have two, one for the grille and one for my tank top heater for when I am out tinting in the cold. Now that summer is here I'll use it as a spare for when the grille tank goes dry. We usually grille 4-5 nights a week minimum in the summer.

I have tried uploading the toolbox photo a half dozen times and cannot understand why the system keeps rotating the image. Oh well! Hahaha

A little over a month ago North Dallas had 6" of snow on the ground, and this morning at 5am it was 73 degrees with not a storm cloud in site... I have work chaining me to a desk for the next 14 days and I'm freakin dying to get out already. This may be the season I finally crack.

That's a good looking tool box! I used to do a lot of the heat treating on Cornwell tools. They are made a few towns over from me.
