Nice boat, but not an 18 S. It has the compression cone in the tunnel to make it less prone to kite. Not as fast, but still a rare find.

Some of them had a water pick-up on the sponson with a hose running to the lower unit. I also knew of one with a Bridgeport, never got it to run right, maybe low 80s, couldn't get the porpoise out of it unless in a wide sweeping arc.
