Sunday nite thoughts about "noise motors", and electric..

I been firing up as the rainy season over "pickled rides". Ya GOTTA love .."internal combustion" "noise"! But my point coming here? Electric race rides?.

All W/E been racing the tube in the shop. F1's in Malaysia, then the "4 wides" NHRA Zmax, then Crashcar in Martinensville, and St Petersburg Indy race. ALL NOISE!

Can you ever imagine a race with cars that made NO NOISE!? I love the "instant torque" E Motor stuff.

BUT? To me like going the the 4th July fire works with no sound? Just a "quiet "lite show" "bombs no BOOM?" Light show only? Calling BS shenanigans here as we discovered fire, LONG ago

The discovery of electric power was only 100 some years ago?

Let me put is this way so ALL can understand. Would you rather sit around a crackling outside wood fire pit cooking well, friends telling BS in the "glow" after too many beers?.

Or ya all sitting on the deck with 4 110 volts bath heaters pointed at ya.."look at that glow!

Then the power goes out ..........

Few months back saw on Fox sports or Y/T F1E racing demo. Said "WTF is "F1 E"? WHAM! so it can smoke the tires?.

YEP! I built a frame up HD Sporty "ironhead" drag bike 25 years ago. Never forget "first fire" with the new 4 cams that would work..(race cams without coil bind or major work the heads) But that "gear whine"? And a open piped well worked over guts, and bored and crank stroked to the limit! STILL heard that "gear whine" with a LOUD motor "making cam gear noise "making friends?"

Fastest stock Haley to 60mph is going to be electric and I wonder if Mattel is going to build it for them...lol
