    Super MINT 2.5/ 1991 200 HP Merc w/ Hi Perf extra's

This is an Awesome 200 H.P. Big 2.5 liter motor, (decals say 175 hp previous owners boat only good to 175 hp) looks new, cowl is so nice, not all beat up like many, cylinders mint shiny factory paint and original bolts, compression about 110 psi on cylinders average. it was never overheated and then rusted like some i have seen too. I recently had new 14 amp system ( Stator and Rectifier ) installed for $570 professionally FORT FREMONT MARINE and a lower 14 amp flywheel (used) to generate more top end HP. It will come with my favorite 2:1 gear ratio lower unit ( not pretty) but gears and seals good , no cone. This lower great for some great out of the hole power when tubing or heavy bass boat etc. Plus a cupped 4- Blade 28 pitch ck'd by DAH i had blades sharpened (deburred) at DAH as a favor to me. It has Bob's Machine parts like Stainless louvers to breathe cool air at WOT, Exhaust housing for better low end and Solid motor mounts for better control above 70 mph. It did 76 mph on GPS with four adults and only a 26 pitch Chopper. Wolf River last year. At about 5,900 Rpm's. I am selling reluctantly because i owe for a 250 hp motor i just bought. Please no B.S. low ball offers i am NOT Desperate. A very Clean motor! $3,575. Pics of Lower unit added, was painted crummy by previous owner, i wanted it for being a 2:1 pull tubes and at least reliable. ( No seals leaking or gear issues ) Didn't care for looks, myself. Lol. Since i am saving my CLE lower i used on this motor for higher speed use, i will also sell the motor less any lower unit for $3,175.

i stand to be corrected, here is exact excerpt from the Service order.
Installed new Stator and Rectifier wired for correct 14 amps, tested with shop tach since boat battery dead. Stator $208.25 Rectifier $48.25 Misc. shop parts $18.69 plus Labor. Plus i bought a blown motor they removed its flywheel for, the guy i bought motor form said Stator and rectifier were blown too. :-( i will include the original 40 amp Flywheel in nice shape too.
And yes, that is my Sea Star tube, motor was just removed from my YT Stream last Saturday and i owe gf money for new motor so she asked i list it ASAP, this week i will remove that tube and excess Sea Star hardware.
Thanks i will correct ad, JIM

yeah i think 50 hp makes a good 10 mph i had a 200 hp that went 87 mph and when i put my Bridgeport 250 hp on same boat it went 10 mph faster! I hit 97 mph on Lake Butte Des Morts in Wi. Great day! i also ran my Valero with a 150 hp and it did 67 mph with 2 people and my 200 hp made it go 76 mph with four people! easy!
