2ea 25"s and a 20". Mercury has no 15" motors other than the ROS 400.
Also the word from them regarding the 400ROS having to race is a piece of BS paperwork to satisfy the EPA as it is considered a race motor. They are covering their butt. You have to show it will be used for racing officially. What you do after that is no concern for them.
They do not care if you run or not. Just enter. That is what I was told from the powers to be.

Its cool to see these motors working so well on the big boats. I couldn't get my 30 spectre to run 120 with triple 260s that were jacked up with remote pickups. I hope the 28s from Doug and Rick are what we anticipate them to be...

They're getting 115 out of the 32 Spectre with 400Rs. What are the 30s with 300XS' running...100?

Why Port side steering?

yes the older 30 spectre averages 95-105 normal conditions, prop, rigging
o/bs were put on them but were designed and built for I/0s so were heavier built 3200+lb hull
vrsing these new 2500 lb hulls and 2200lb 28 skater,,,,,
less compression and more weight,,,,,but that old 30 goes through some snotty water,,,,
new boat looks nice and basic to save a few $ over the other builders
can see dash layout,,,can put steering on either side desired

Limited testing so far but there is a lot of potential as we get her dialed in. 1.75 ratio and a 32 Signature 4 (Pro ET copy) went 97 with two, full of fuel and all the talons and troller. This was my first time out in port steer boat and also had to get used to the very fast power steering. It was just getting into its power band and wasn't slowing it's acceleration down plus I still had a lot of trim left.
