One of tens of thousands lost in Ontario. Auto, food production, textile, clothing, bicycles, chewing gum, shoe laces, boots, rubber products, wood product, cookies, refinery capacity, you name it. Chrysler Outboards and Boats

corporate cronyism at its best. If the industrial war complex wanted frosted flakes we'd have them.

This is very sad.
Kellogg's is now sourcing some of their Frosted Flakes from a factory in Mexico, but most of them still come from Battle Creek. Neither of them are anywhere near as good as the Canadian product.
I found a stray box of "Product of Canada" Frosted flakes mixed in with the others last week at an independent grocerer, I snatched it right up. I only have about 3 boxes left.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI

I guess they're not as "ggggGGREAT" as the American ones. Discerning palates ought to know. Sort of like a fine Scotch compared to Jack Daniels' swill.

Most people don't realize that there are two levels of quality. Kind of like Jack drinkers who have never tried decent bourbon or good scotch. They keep buying it, not knowing any better. Un-discerning palates just can't tell the difference.
Kellogg's was using Canadian production to stop-gap the Michigan product during holidays and shut-down days. Now they're using Mexican product for this purpose.
The corn, the malt flavoring, the texture... everything about the Canadian ones was superior. If only they knew.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI
