another plus is this boat was in hot boat mag twice. once in the ditch in la. and again in later issue in the ditch. if you don't think this boat is competive I finished 3rd out of 36 boats and the last 2 runs with no trim I couldn't see the water for the last 300 ft but you have to drive an Allison like you stole it from your brother. baitman out.

im from sc and my racing parner was david pou . I had 7 different allisons and ended up with bruce mcniders metal flake 1/4 which held all 4 count them 1600 1400 pro gas pro fuel in the same year. after this they only allowed you to race in 2 classes in the same boat. they called me baitman because I had a wholesale bait distribution bus. I retired the year mr Charles hoven who was also pitted with us at jasper ten passed away during the super stock race. could not afford to race on my own so I sold out.sorry I took over this guys thread but it brought back some fantastic memories of some dam good times. you only live once enjoy. bob kottman blu buy u jacos schinkleres just a few of the older guys baitman out

Definitely good reading. Outboard drag racing is still a great sport with awesome people. I think I look forward to seeing all our friends at races more than the actual racing. I wish more people would give it a try
