"Let the buyer beware". All anyone has to do is to do a search in here on this guy and his business. If after doing so, they choose to do business with him, they may very well wind up being the victim of their own decision. A little research up front goes a long way to avoiding this type of problem.

I still believe we should have a forum or section related to reviews of retailers/mechanics/etc. A focused area to have feedback on personal interactions with vendors (supporting or not). People continue to get burned by the same companies/people over and over again. eBay and angieslist allow for candid feedback. So should this community. Break it down by state or type of company/service(parts, repair, etc.). I understand that we can search the forum but if we had a dedicated section it would allow everyone to provide feedback of any vendor whether they have a relation to his site or not.

    Rob,

Most folks don't need their engines built by a true pro. Compared to what most of us have locally, the vendor whom I think you refer to does an an amazing high quality job with a quick turnaround, from what I understand.

I build non-spectacular, reliable, well-running engines at home, having learnt a lot from the wise men on here. However, had I lived in North America, I would not have hesitated to save the time and shipped it off to someone like that to get the same kind of results...

I have an AFR fiberglass skirt for a 260 to go with it. It is a little crooked, but will most likely do the job...

Didn't read the entire thread but It would be great if it would be possible that buyers could give their opinion on the sale like eBay. So if the supporting vendor has 40% we know we can't thrust him. People will not buy things anymore and he will just leave. So he doesn't need to be kicked out! Don't know if this would be possible or not.
