    Opinons on rec90

I recently last July moved and the boat did not get used alot I added fresh rec90 and sea foam and today I looked at the gas and it looked real cloudy and really rough. Is it just too long since burned and should I continue to use rec90 I drained the old and am ready to fill. I plan to use the boat at least once every 3 weeks it is a chevy 350 or should I use pump gas? All thoughts on this are appreciated all gas is never burned dry when I do use it. thanks Rick

Only way I know of to be sure the gas is good, is to drain the tanks dry when done with the boat or car. Been working for me since the e-10 came around. Never bought any rec gas. And won't use any snake oil additives, they are expensive and don't always work.

The only snake oil I subscribe to is sea foam but it is impossible for me to burn all the fuel what I might do is pump it out after each run and put in truck. 3.99 a gallon for rec fuel and 2.39 for E10. Thank you for your opinion.

I sell Rec 90 at the pump at my bar. I use it in my 225 promax and have never had any problems. It is a little pricey but contains no alcohol to eat away at your fuel lines and o rings. I sell a bunch of it mostly to pontoons and PWC's but no one has ever said they had any issues with it either.

I appreciate the feedback what do you all think shelf life is of rec90? Mine had gone bad but there was a long time maybe 3 months and it just didn't look right. I might add there was no jelly or sediment but like glaze and very cloudy.

If it was blended (mixed) it could have something to do with it looking cloudy.

One other thing, rec is not a fast mover, so a load of it could be old by the time you bought it.If possable buy from a high volume seller.

Sea foam has alcohol in it. That may be what made it cloudy.

My bar is on the lake and we are pretty seasonal. We do get the occasional sled needing gas in the winter but it normally sets all winter(4 months) and I have seen no color difference.
