Got last seasons salt off PH- what to protect it with now? 2.5 lt merc

Got all last season salt off under the cowls. Some of the salt crystals were big enough to put on pretzels- I have Corrosion X HD- that is like spraying it down with nice smelling gear lube.
Anything else worth trying? Merc 2.5lt Salt water fishing motor.
    Spring WILL come.

CRC 6-56 is used in the industry up in the north east. No build up and clear.

CRC is what I have used for years with great results, still do. Just need to be careful to not over load or spray where it will sit or built up around rubber, it will soften it up after some time.

Used CRC 666 (they since changed it to 656) in the Keys and never had corrosion. Now I use the 656. It's way cheaper to get gallons and use a spray bottle. After a while the ph had such a coating I didn't spray as often, just wash down. Everything external got it every time. Never had any corrosion.

Best stuff I ever used, it is a little messy but it is designed to use on tractors that stay out in the elements all their life, also no petroleum distillates so it does not break down rubber. Matt
