Closest thing that I can think of it comparing to is a 23 Sanger Alley Cat on steroids.

Built by Cougar Marine on N.E. 188th Street, North Miami Beach(now renamed "Aventura", Fl.), which was next door to Magnum Marine, and across the street from Fort Apache...as well as Cigarette, Apache Powerboats, Team USA, Bobby Moores Custom Marine, Tempest Marine and Signature, etc. They built both wood & fiberglas Cougars there, of all sizes, but mostly the glass boats, in the 80's. Cougar Marine's building & property was Don Aronows original Donzi Marine boat manufacturing/testing/sales property in the 60's & 70's. Kip Denison, who's father, Frank Denison owned Broward Marine(Broward Yachts), campaigned a simular 28 Cougar, powered by twin JohnRude V-6's in APBA Offshore throughout the 80's. He named the boat "Chase".

Wonder why the motors are off? Did the seller ever have the 250s on that hull? Kinda odd.
