Sled Heads - Info on 1974 Cee Bee Avenger Wanted!

I'm the proud new Owner of a 1974 Cee Bee Avenger Jet - this is a CLEAN, CLEAN Sled! What I am hoping to find is the Manufacturer Model (not that it makes a difference, just curiosity). CBM043610574. Built May of 1974, Serial Number 04361. I know this goes back more than 40 Years, but can anyone help me with the actual Manufacturers designation? There appear to be three possibilities, and I am hoping that the Serial Number will tell me what Cee Bee called this ride...

MANY THANKS to the Gents who owned her before me - she was very well cared for, and I will continue the Legacy. Count on it.

Nice looking Advenger Yes a Calif Hot Rod the hull also has a bit of a race history also. Don Damron "Devil Don" used a modified version of this hull to run Top Fuel Jet back in the 70's Held the record at one time thinking it was around 107 mph or so. Boat was called the Devil and run out of Kaiser Marine. John Mad Man Kaiser.

Yessir - I have the Sales Brochure downloaded, which is what raised the question. At this point I'm thinking it was the Seating Configuration that made the "Model Name" differences - according to everything I can find, the Hulls were all the same for the JetBoat line. Steve / Matagordababy

Ten Dollars American says you'd leave me in your wake, but I too love the sound and the fact they are basically useless except for turning Dinosaurs into Hot Air and Noise (and a bit of fun of course)!

I owned a brand new 18' Southwind Formula 1 sort of 1978 to 1983, then the Babies started coming and the toys had to go. They are all raised now, and it's time for Toys again!

Great looking boat, the sound o that sound . I know of a 73 something or other I have forgoten the name jet boat laying in the trees needing a bunch of love. I was in the thing once and it went alright even with a lazy pump. Big block olds 455, good big valve heads , nothing that wouldn't be redone if I ever decided to make it HOT. When I see a boat that looks as good as yours I get the itch to do it right. New Vic Heads fully worked , full roller, worked Torquer , the right cam and pipes , ya , ya , O ya. And paint that drives them wet.

I HEAR you Brother! Loud and Cracklin' - that's a BIG part of the Magic! There are some truly NASTY Motors in our group, but owned by guys who know what they are doing and aren't afraid to blow them the F#&% Up - rebuilding better and badder is half the fun for them. As for me, I like my little "Lake Boat", and HOPE I don't blow the top off the thing! The Engine was nicely done by the former owner, and Dyno's at 470 HP. I'll add a bit more Intake and Carb at the end of the Season, but most "Speed" improvs will come on the Pump Intake, which is currently bone stock (plus Vet-A-Vator), though freshly Overhauled.

    Fun Stuff!

Ya I have been told that the pump is where it's at unless you go nuts with the power the pump will get you there. Still 625 hp and 650 torque on a flat curve starting at 2800 and going to 5800 ,man it's going to dance.
